On Saturday, October 28, 2023, starting at 20:00, join us for an enchanting evening featuring Bálint Gájer and Márk Horváth’s Voice & Guitar acoustic production, showcasing captivating swing and Latin world hits.
Bálint Gájer, also known as “the prince of swing” to many who remember him from The Voice, has the incredible ability to get everyone dancing to his music. With a stage presence that rivals the greatest performers, his talent has earned him not only a dedicated fanbase but also recognition within the industry. Remarkably, this has been achieved despite his young age and early career. Today, Bálint Gájer stands as the pioneer and leading figure of the Hungarian “Swing’n Pop” music style.
For nearly three decades, Márk Horváth has established himself as one of the most versatile guitarists of our time. His music has resonated on both domestic and international stages, gracing numerous festivals and concerts in Hungary and abroad, making him an enduring presence in the Hungarian music scene. Throughout his illustrious career, he has collaborated with a diverse array of groups and artists, including Bálint Gájer, Betty Balássy, Tóth Vera Akusztik, András Hajós, Frankie Lato, András Jász, Juli Horányi, and many more. Márk Horváth’s musical prowess extends across various genres, with his primary focus on Latin jazz and Django swing, while also showcasing his talent in the realm of world music. Over the years, he has shared the stage with renowned Hungarian and international artists, including Hollywood-Hungarian composer Bálint Sapszon, with whom he embarked on a successful American tour. One of his noteworthy projects, ‘Harmónia Garden Swing a’la Django,’ has graced the stage at the MÜPA in numerous captivating performances.
